Hello.
Like each year I attend Commandos cérémonies for Dieppe Rai 19 08 1942.
I will share some photos from the 77th anniversary.
Just would like to say, than i'm surprise not to see any British standard bearers at the Commandos cérémonies. Any for 4 cdo or 3 cdo.
The standard bearers are involved for Canadians cérémonies in Dieppe, Puys, and the cemetery.
The photos enclosed were taken the 19th august 2019. Roy CADMAN 3 Cdo, with John, laid the wreath at the sacrifice cross Dieppe cemetery. When all people gone.

Hello,
Like each year I attend DDay and Normandy Battle ceremonies.
So, few families of Commandos were there, but it's like that.
I paid tribute to the fallen in different cemeteries. Unfortunately, alone. I'm doing my best, would like to do more, for each one.
So, I enclosed some photos to remember those who gave all for freedom.
These first photos were taken in Ranville cemetery, in memory of Graham WHITTLES 3 Cdo. After DAVID ( great-nephew ) and PETE contacted me, if someone could pay
his respect to Graham.
Best wishes

Bonjour Guy.
Thank you. I read with great interest the forum on WW2 Talk. I met Colin years ago, he try to contact me few months ago, but no more news.
Anyway, don't know if it's mine who has trouble to understand but on this forum, these few words from Colin about the photo with the three LCI before leaving Warsah
" For H39041 (just before leaving for Warsash) 21 members of A Troop 45 RM Commando have been identified."
And i recall years ago, he told me on the 289 we could see an AFPU man with 45 RM cdo.
Needs to be in touch with Colin for "more light" !!!! ) )
Will see in other of my boxes what i've !
Best regards
stéphane
