My late father was in 5 Cdo 5 Troop. His name was Walter Jones and there is a thread on page 12/13 of 'Looking for Information' with pictures of him. Unfortunatley I don't have any further information or pictures. I do have his demob case though!

My husbands father was in the 5/1 Commandos in WWII. Could anybody recommend any books that features this troop? As I would like to purchase them for my husband for Christmas.

Hi Denise,

I believe my father was in Hong Kong. His name was Walter Jones and strangely enough I've a photo of him on horseback as well. If you look at two messages above this one on the board for Walter Jones 1/5 CDO the photo is in there. I'm struggling as well to find info.
