Hi Everyone

Several people have asked me recently about the welfare of John No1 cdo.

On Thursday last week I picked up Iris his wife from Lincoln and brought her over to the East Midlands Airport where she was boarding a plane for Jersey to visit their son.

I of course asked after John and he is still in the home and doing OK.

He can no longer walk but still has awareness of everybody.

I know some people would like to visit but Iris forgot to give me his address.

I will ask her on her return and let you know by PM.

John,

Please pass on our kind regards to Iris and John and they are greatly missed in Fort William each year.

Just a thought but do you think Iris would take comfort in us possibly uploading a small selection of John's poems to the site?

I think that would be really wonderful...but which ones..... the man was prolific :)

I am sure we could decide.

Iris returns a week Monday. We are picking her up from the airport and taking her home.

I'll ask her but I'm sure she would be thrilled.
