World War 1 & 2 particularly my Fathers service which I have had the door closed on me every time I have made official requests for his service records. He died when I was 10 Years of age so I have not been able to ask him but I do know he was a RM Commando and was sent an invitation to return to the RM Commandos to help in 1950 - 52 serving in 41 Commando. Dad even brought home the companies mascot Rags |
