On the CWGC record Pte Martin is simply shown as Commando. I am uncertain where the original reference to No 1 Commando came from as it was on our original ROH which did not have sources.

He and 5 others are buried in a collective grave. The others are from units as follows: one from RAMC; two from 139 Sqn RAFVR; one from 99 Sqn RAFVR; and one from RAAF.
