Hello.
I?m looking to see if any one has pictures or a picture of my great uncle George. No photo exists of him at all and he was never talked about.
I eventually found his service records and he was an engineer and moved units a fair bit. But he was part of the 3rd special service brigade, 3 commando engineers etc and went to Burma for the Akyab landings etc. was just looking to see if any one had any more info on him.

Hi Jon

I don't have a photo but found a newspaper article referencing a marriage in 1947 to Miss Valerie Iris Harris. Is this your great uncle and his wife? Was your great uncle's final rank Colour Sergeant. I can post the cutting from the paper if it is. In any case if can you email me via the link below a photo of the record referencing dates and commando service I will update the archive.

He may well be one of those not named in our gallery here:
