Hi Pete,
My name is David Price.
The reference to the units are taken from his service and casualty form on which there are a number of records and dates from 1941 to 1946. I would really like to know more about Dad's history in WW2 if possible as it would mean so much to me to have a better understanding of his life at that time.
I will attach some of the records and hope you are able to tell me a little of my fathers history in the RM Commandos.
Kind regards,
David Price

I would be very grateful if any one has any information at all on my late father William "Truff" Price who served in WW2. He enlisted in 28/01/1941 at RM Depot Exmouth. His service no was PLY/X101788. There are mentions of 7th Bn, 48Cdo and 44Cdo.
