Patrick Curtis

My uncle was Eric Gordon Curtis (No. 2 Commando), who was executed at Sachsenhausen, 1942. My father was Patrick William Curtis, also of No. 2 Commando. I believe that Patrick took part in Operation Roast, 1945. I would be grateful if anyone has any wartime information about either Eric or Patrick.

I'm sure information will be forthcoming but I just had to say that your uncle and his comrades are often thought about and won't be forgotten. Tributes are paid to them each year - tears are still shed.

I do not have access to Service Records and so rely on other sources and recognise the nominal rolls are not complete. However you can apply if you have not already done so for a copy of your Father's record on the link below. Ensure you send a copy of his death certificate with your application.
