My Half brother Stanley Benjamin Taylor ( dob. 25/11/1917) - enlisted in the Coldstream guards in 1937. However in the records of him being captured in Crete 1/6/1941 (no 12361) he is listed as X list - (50 (ME)commando). He was taken to Stalag 383 as a POW.
Are there any records showing this please and if so where could I locate them?

Hi Jo

The sources are referenced here:

Extract from the Casualty list and the POW List are attached along with a newspaper report. We are still looking for a better photo or more detail if you have that.
