Apologies tried to attach a photo but would not display
Looking for information on my wife?s great uncle
The only info I have is he was a commando in WW2 around 1942-44
Based in Scotland, no regimental number available at moment
Only other info No 4 Paratrooper
Attachment is a Christmas card with pic of lord mounbatten 25 anniversary commando 1970

Possibly 4 Para, 4th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment?

Have you exhausted all avenues within the extended family for photos of him or documents from his time in the military ? When did he die and which part of the country was he living in at the time ?

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
