Alfred Thomas Coley

Hello all,

I am trying to find out some info about my grandfather?s time as a commando during WW2. His name is Alfred Thomas Coley DoB 25/09/23, he passed away2/94. He served as a commando aboard HMS Glengyle in the Far East. I have his certificate for the crossing the equator and could possibly get hold of the HMS Glengyle map of ports called at.

This is as much as I know, as no one in the family knows his military service number. I?ve had a look through ancestry, but I?m unable to find any war records.
