West Highland Museum Fort William has also got a Commando room.
Reopening Notice

From Tuesday 1st June 2021, The West Highland Museum is ready to welcome you back, however, we all have our part to play.

We have put all the required safety measures in place for our staff, volunteers and visitors.

This includes:

Limiting visitor numbers
Frequent cleaning in high contact areas and additional hygiene measures
Adding hand sanitiser stations around the museum spaces
Introducing a one-way system so different households can stay 2m apart
Face coverings in our spaces are mandatory for people over 5 years of age, in line with government guidance (exceptions accepted)

Opening Hours:

Tuesday to Friday 10am to 2pm.

From Tuesday 22nd June, you don't have to pre-book a museum visit, but we are limiting the number of visitors in the museuam at any one time. We may ask you to wait outside a short while so that we can maintain social distancing and manage our queuing system.

We are also collecting contact details for each group to support the national Track and Trace system. Please provide your details when asked to do so.

We're sure you'll be considerate!

Thank you.
