Hi John

All the reference I have previously seen relate to the Parachute Regiment in 1941 and 1943 and the casualty lists show the same man as Army Air Corps in 1944. He also got the Bronze Star awarded by the U.S.A.

MC in the Sicily landings and Bx Star at Arnhem.

However I note the Paradata site have a good deal about him including commando https://www.paradata.org.uk/people/antony-m-frank

as do the Pegasus Archive but no ref. to commando: https://www.pegasusarchive.org/arnhem/tony_frank.htm

Hi Pete
Thanks for this. I have his private diary which was privately published and sent to me by a relation some years ago, Its a small hardback book.
It does mention he was in 10Cdo and seconded to the Paras.
He took part in a couple of Ops with No 10 but it doesn't mention which they were.

He seems an interesting character.

best regards

John M
