I hope you have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year! Thank you all for the hours of work you put in to ensure this Forum remains the best site on the internet. I love looking through the Gallery and catching up on comments - always so interesting ... apart from the shoe adverts. )


My brother joined me on my Commando trails this year and will be doing so next year. We look forward to meeting up with 'old' friends and making 'new' ones in 2019. x

If I have praised my comrades too highly I make no apology, for they were beyond all praise.

I will have a lot more 'free' time from 01 January 2019 - which, potentially, means more trips to The National Archives etc...
Which, in turn, means I'll have a lot of stuff that needs transcribing! )
