Hello This is just an update to say my granddad is in the photo on this link: https://gallery.commandoveterans.org/cdoGallery/v/units/Royal+Marine+Commando+Units/43+RM+Commando/43rm+cdo+c+troop.jpg.html
He is on the end of the third row from the top - Reginald Kiddle. I would love to find some more information about his service however like so many he hardly spoke about it - all we have is a write up from the British Legion magazine.
I'm tempted to request his service records.
I have attached scanned images of the Legion magazine write up which also mentions Tom Hunter VC.

Hi Shelley

Welcome to the CVA website. I have updated the photo where you identified your grandfather Reg Kiddle. The copy of the image you have posted is rather grainy. Do you have a higher resolution copy or an image of Reg from his Commando days. If so I will add them to our gallery as well. If you advise me of the date of his death I will add his name to our Obituaries.

Hello Pete,
I'm afraid I don't have any other pictures of Granddads commando days.
His date of death was 26th June 2008.
