It is with a heavy heart i have to announce the passing of a dear man and friend John Lowman of No 1 and 1/5 Commando.
John died yesterday at 12-00 noon.

John was a lovely kind and generous hearted man who I got to know very well at the Lincoln branch.

John loved poetry and the gentler side of life.......an inspiration.

Thoughts are now with Iris and Jackie and all of his family. RIP John.

Another sad loss. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Rest in peace John
Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
