My old neighbour Maurice one told me that when our dad came home on leave once he showed this weapon he had. It was two handles with cheesewire or something attached to it for strangling sentries , pretty gruesome but was it standard issue or something my dad had made for himself? God help him if he was captured with it!

ive been watching the 2nd series of Boardwalk Empire and this IRA man used one on someone. The victim tried to save himself by putting three fingers around the wire but it sliced his fingers off ,Horrible
