I'm looking for any information about Ronald Douglas GITTENS 3 Cdo 2 Troop
Taken prisonner the 19 august 1942 ( DIEPPE RAID ).

Corporal GITTENS was in the Royal Armoured Corps : army number : 7889965

Hi Stéphane,

I haven't been able to find anything about Corporal Gittens' War service but I think his surname is actually spelt GITTINS.

I believe he was born in the Wolverhampton area in 1920 and died in Somerset in 1983.

A friend from Dieppe met Ronald GITTENS's daughter last year. And we've got not real information

about him, during his time in the commandos.
