Although nothing to do with the commandos Ive been reading George Macdonald Fraser's memoirs of his time in Burma "Quartered Safe Out There" The author ,famous for his Flashman books, served with the Black Cat Division and its as good a book on how it was you 'll read. Its how it mustve been for 3 Commando Brigade. I read in another book The Brave Japanese that in 2 and a half years of fighting in Burma only seven Japanese were taken prisoner Seven ? is that true?
