Ian McHarg (former RE Cdo and fellow CVA member) has just informed me that after much hard work he has now completed his book on the No 11 Cdo battle at Litani River. Please follow his link below to the ebook and give your feedback here.

Hi Geoff I have now finished the book on No.11 (Scottish) Commando; the book which is titled ?Litani River? is available in an ebook format and can be downloaded for free at the following web address: http://www.litaniriver.com/

It would be appreciated if you could forward the link to any CVA members who would be intersted in reading the story. Now that it is finished I will re-write the article on 11 Commando history for the CVA website or Dispatches as promised previously. I will be a Spean Bridge on Rememberance Sunday, so hopefully we will get a chance to catch up. Kind regards Ian McHarg Email: [email protected]

I am very pleased to inform you all that my book "Litani River" has now been published and is available to order online from Amazon, Waterstones and all good book shops.

As many of you will know 9/10th June was the 70th Anniversary of Litani River so it was especially pleasing to have the book available to coincide with the anniversary.

A percentage of all proceeds from the book will be given to the Commando Benevolent Fund, please see below for links to Amazon and Waterstones:
