It is with much sadness that I inform you of the passing of another Commando. Gnr. William Edward Barker of No.2 Commando died on the 20th April 2010. He was from Highcliffe on Sea and his funeral will take place next Wednesday. I have no other details at present.

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
