hope you all had a good xmas ,,One of my pressies was We Died With Our Boots Clean by Kenneth McAlpine who was the youngest marine commando in WW2 and served with 48 Commando Good photos in the book Its a very honest book He says the French they liberated actually disliked them and opposed them quite strongly . Surely the majority of the French were happy to be liberated!
