It was on this day some 67 years ago that seven men of No.2 Commando who took part in Operation Musketoon were executed at Camp Sachsenhausen under Hitler's infamous Commando Order.
In memory of :

Thank you, Pete.

These men were comrades and friends of Bob. They had a huge influence on him and he was honoured to have known them.

He never forgot these brave, quiet men.

So sad that these men, who were wearing British uniforms were executed as if they were spies. Yet even after the Hitler order to execute all Commandos, there was still no shortage of volunteers to join. My father was one of them. Every one a hero.

Son of Dennis Cooper, 1 troop 4 Commando.
