He never-ever spoke of his service, but he left our family an amazing set of personal war photos. From all through his service in WWII. Photos of jungle training, photos while in Algeria, Sicily, Africa, India, Bali and many more... Also photos of HMS Hood. The Bismarck, HMS Iron Duke and many more infamous WWII ships.... Have his Africa Star medal and others. I'm trying to find out his actual war time journey ... He was married 6th, October, 1944 in Glasgow, while on leave. His best man also R.N.B.C, 'Q', Herbert Booth, attended, and is in the marriage photo. But. I am unable to locate him here..
