My father was a RM Commando during WW2. He has passed but I remember him telling me he was in Oran before embarking on the invasion of Italy and being one of the first on the beach at Anzio. He was also on an LST in the Adriatic and disabled and captured a German E boat. He also spent time in Yugoslavia. |
