Douglas Ewart Harris (324910) By Mervyn Douglas Harris Looking for "Doug" ( South Wales Borderers-Military Cross ) He commanded 11 platoon "B" company, 2/5 Queens Royal Regiment 1944/45, and took part in all actions from The Menate Landings to the fighting at the approaches to Portoverrara where he was seriously wounded. He married Isabella Simpson from Dundee in '43 I believe he eventually emigrated to Australia. ANY info on my fathers whereabouts now will be very welcome indeed.
