Hi everyone and a Happy New Year.

We are at present adding a 'Commando Library; of books new and old published on the Commandos, and relevant topics relating to the Commandos.

You will find the Library here on the right hand side menu under 'Publications.'

http://www.commandoveterans.org/commando-publications

We hope you will find this resource useful as a research reference to books available, and of general interest.

We have upwards of 250 volumes to upload so please check back regularly.

When you are on the book if you use the 'READ MORE' button a synopsis, if available, will load on that particular book.

We will be adding volumes on a daily basis for some time.

Hope you enjoy

Best wishes

John M

This may not be viewing correctly but should be back soon.

Great stuff - right up my street! Thank you.

I've got books I don't need - doubled up on some and ready to let some go. Would it be possible to swap or sell amongst this community? I'd much rather do this than go down the ebay route. Lots go to charity shops but some are too good/special to part with that way, not knowing who'll end up with them.

If I have praised my comrades too highly I make no apology, for they were beyond all praise.

That's great Eileen ..thanks..

Yes we have some very interesting volumes to list many from the 40's-50.s and personal accounts etc.

you will have fun tracking them down...try WWW.Abebooks.com if you can't get elsewhere.

yes you could put up swaps and so forth on here in General Topics although I suggest when you find a willing swapper you use PM's or emails to correspond with each other.

Thanks for your reply.

Regards

Great! Abebooks is always my first port of call.

I shall sort out the ones I no longer require and see what happens. It'll get me off Netflix for a while.

We (this site) now have 200+ Volumes of Commando and related publications listed in our newly uploaded Commando Library under 'Publications' on the side menu.

The task goes on. I have received several messages of appreciation for making this resource available.

It is our pleasure...Thanks
Best regards

John M
