I am sorry, but I don't know his name. He was one of the members attending the AGM, so perhaps Geoff or Fred might know his name or anyone else who was there as well.

The gentleman who laid the CVA wreath at the town parade in Fort William was a wonderful gentleman called Jack Cox (No 12 and 3 Cdo). You may have read some of his memoirs in recent editions of Dispatches (Editions 16 and 20).

Regards

Geoff

Many thanks to all who have contributed to the 100 or so photos of this years service at Fort William and Spean Bridge, and of the Area of Remembrance, now in our gallery. I sent Eric Buckmaster (No.2 Cdo) a link to the photos of this year and last years service to which he replied :

Thank you very much for your Note, and the excellent links for both 2011 & 2010. I was most pleased to learn that the Weather was favourable. It does make such a difference.

I would like to think that Vic Ralph is somewhow aware that his persistance in establishing the Commando Veterans Association has caught on in the way that he envisaged
