Ouistreham / Riva bella B&B??

Hi -

Planning to visit this June - any recommendations? nb no car
(Dad was with No.4, am taking his grandson to see the sights)

Also - any ideas re hiring bikes? Have found that to be a good way to cover the ground, but a nuisance carrying them on the ferry!

Below are some websites that might be of use to you. There are a few hotels in Ouistreham that offer reasonable rates.

Contact the Tourist Office at the ferry terminal or casino about bike hire.

Most sites in the area are pretty accessible without a vehicle. PM me if you have any questions.

You can get the Twisto bus from Caen to Benouville and Pegasus Bridge is about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop in Benouville. Bus Verts are good but do not go via Pegasus Bridge that often. Good service to Merville. The museum is a about 15/20 minute walk from the stop on the coast.

Bus Vertes do a one day bus pass, La carte liberté. You can purchase these at the Ferry Terminal Tourist Office or on the bus. Twisto also do a one day family ticket and one day tickets, available at the tram stop machines. You can check out the timetables online.
