I am looking for info. on my father Captain Harry Barnes who was CO of 814 Flotilla on Dday but later moved to 654 flotilla. I have found information on 814 but as yet nothing on 654. Can anyone help?

I am looking for information regarding 814 flotilla LCVP which was commanded by my father around D-day; he was (then) Captain Harry Barnes, but I know nothing more about my father's war-time experiences, although he went on to be a prominent figure in RMVFR (Merseyside) ending up Lieutenant Colonel when he died in 1969. The war experience I have obtained is from the Combined Operations Command web-site
