My name is Stuart McVeigh and I am the Grandson of Ernest Austin McVeigh who served as a Royal Marine during World War 2.

I know from his medals that he served in Africa, Italy (Monte Cassino) and Normandy.

Other than that I have no information on him.

If any body could help me get any information, no matter how small, me and my family would be very grateful.

I have looked at the National Records but I am stuck.
