Many thanks for that, it certainly is a possibility and adds to my research. In an ideal world I would like to find an individual who was associated with the Commandos late 1940 or early 41 with that name. But this does give me food for thought.

I'm trying to research two Officers from WW2. H.G. Giles and M.P. Lee. Both of these gentlemen were in the KRRC but I suspect one (maybe Giles) or both ended up on Commando service but have yet to confirm this.

If anyone here could shed light on any of these men I would be most grateful, the smallest of details may be important.
