Here is a link to a picture I have placed in the CVA gallery of Mne. Robert Casson. He was killed in action on D Day. However the Casson family suffered the loss of a second son Joseph on the 27th June 1944 during Operation Overlord. They are buried alongside each other. Joseph was serving with the Durham Light Infantry and, although not himself in the Commandos, I have placed a picture of him in the gallery next to his brother. I found the details in the BBC WW2 Peoples War Archives.

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
