Hi rfak94 (sorry you did not leave your name)
I have added some detail about Marine Charles Hall with a photo and you will see Linked Content to a photo of a newspaper clipping on how his life was saved included on there. Are you related?
https://www.commandoveterans.org/Charles_Hall_RMCommando
For James Anthony Kelly to describe him as he did as you say he has to have been in the same commando unit.
Pete

Amazing...asks for help urgently. Then when given it simply deletes their original post without any word of appreciation.

Their original post referred to the IWM online interview with James Anthony Kelly of 41RM Commando about his experiences particularly on D Day where he mentions a RM Commando called Charlie Hall being wounded by an explosion as they ran up the beach. The original post, deleted by the person, enquired if Marine Hall had survived. Hence my response.
The IWM have some excellent oral interviews with veterans who detail their experiences on D Day and of course many other operations. These have been available for some time now, free to listen to, and give excellent detail. You can hear James Kelly talking on the link below. His reference about Marine Hall is on Reel 6:
