Hi, I'm looking for any information/ pictures that anyone
may have of my dad (Andrew Gillies deceased) please. He was in Burma and Hong Kong 1944/1945

Hi John

Just for the info of others your Dad was a member of the Edinburgh branch of the Commando Association and I noted that you had identified him in a photo at a reunion where he is standing next to my Dad here:

I would like to add more about your Dad such as his service number, regiment, dates and places of birth and death, if you wish to share that. Unfortunately it does not look as if your Dad has been identified in any other photos as yet but if you have a good clear photo (uniform or civvies) that you would like included just let me know either here on the forum, or via email on my email link below.
