Can anybody help me here
I have a ww2 shoulder title 'commando D'
What is the 'D'
I know the shoulder title came from somebody who was in 10 Commando if that's any help

It is the shoulder title worn by the staff at the Commando Depot, Achnacarry, which later became known as the Commando Basic Training Centre.
