Terence Holland advises us of the sad news of the death on 13 November 2021 of David Saxton, aged 79, who served in 40 and 42 Commando RM. Our sincere condolences to his wife Yvonne and to his 3 daughters, 2 sons and his grandchildren.
With the permission of his wife Yvonne and family I wish to inform you of the death of my cousin David Saxton (RM 20628) aged 79 who served 4 & a half years in early 1960. He was nicknamed Yorkie and Ernie because there were numerous people called Dave in his intake. He served in 40 Commando, Charlie Stick, with a spell attached to 42. Front line service was in Brunei/ Borneo/Sarawak early 1960s.

Rest in peace David.
