i am looking for information about my dad, 944326 Gnr. John Ellery Acreman, served #6 Commando #2 Commando and #43RM commando from July 1940 to january 1946. He passed away July 1990 and I have just found his Service Certificate amongst my Mum's effects. Like many men dad didn't say much to his daughter about his war service.. His grandchildren and great grandchildren would be very interested in anything people might remember about him
