45 RM Commando Insignia on navy blue backing?

Hello,
My first post.

Can anyone confirm this it may be not often seen but would it be possible?

45 RM Commando used the cash name tapes as during 1944/45 on the battle dress has anyone have knowledge of this insignia mounted on navy blue backing on wartime blouse?
Also the ribbon bar?

Particularly on walkout BD's

The only info that I have concerning RM Commando insignia comes from peter Taylor's Book "Allied Special Forces Insignia 1939 - 1948. Have attached the relevant pages from this book, hope this is of some help.

Thanks Andy I have peters book although it doesn't mention to much on the RM commandos.

I can confirm that I have a set for 45 Commando mounted in exactly the same way - on a black backing - the three piece cash tape on backing then ready to be fixed on the sleeve as you portray. I believe other Commando units had similar practices - the more images the better to compare notes.
