Website update

Our thanks to Dan Mewett for the latest IT upgrade to this website. This upgrade improves the viewing experience for those accessing the website on their mobile phones.

Dan and his father John, the grandson and son of Private Robert Mewett who served in No.12 Commando and No.1 Commando, created this website many years ago for the benefit of us all free of charge and have maintained it ever since. It has enabled all of us to research, browse, contribute to and add information about, the history of the commandos and those individuals who earned the right to wear the green beret. Working quietly in the background at their own expense to achieve this, they often do not get the recognition which I know they do not seek, but so definitely deserve.

So a big thank you to them both.

Good effort Dan and John.. don't want to put the mockers on ... but the proof is in the pudding (two idioms in one sentence :) ) but the uptime on this site says it all.
