It is with much sadness that Fred Davies advises us of the recent death on 22 December 2020 of Captain Alan John Davies, aged 100, and a veteran of No.1 Commando. Our deepest condolences to all his Family and Friends.

Rest in peace Alan.

When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.

Capt Alan Davies was posted from No.1 Cdo to No.5 Cdo where he was the Intelligence Officer in the HQ Troop for some time...
