My wife and I are researching her father's military service in WW2. We know from documents he was a machine gun instructor in the Royal Marines, serving as a commando from August 1943 to December 1945 in Burma then after VJ day in India. I have attached photos found with the documents, several are stamped on the back "Inter Services Public Relations Directorate - India" ( I have more of these possibly for another post).
Your archive tells us he was in HQ troop of 44RM commando.
We would be grateful for any help or information anyone can give us
