18ft. Motorised Wooden Dory as used by the 'Small Scale Raiding Force' in WW2: I am researching the history of the 18ft. motorised, wooden Dory boat. Mainly, who designed the boat and where were they built? I am a volunteer boat builder/guide at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard in 'Boathouse 4' and we have been given one of these boats, used for many years as a fishing boat in Suffolk. We have a few photos of one of these boats on MTB 334 and MTB 250, but I cannot find any reference as to where they were built! Any information/photos[img] gratefully received to my email: [email protected]
