Hello, unfortunately I have very little information on Hobart Ingle, he was my great uncle, born in 1921, served with the RAF servicing commandos during WW2. I know he served on d day in Normandy, and also in Burma. My grandmother seems to think the number 914058 is relevant. I would love to know any information about what he did, or be pointed in the direction of someone that could help. It would mean so much to my grandmother as Hobe never spoke of what he did during the war and she would love to know.

If the nearest next of kin applies for a copy of his service record that should give you a good starting point. How to do so can be found here:
