It is with much sadness that we advise you of the death on 18 May 2020 of RM9430 Alan Gordon Connolly who served in 40 and 42 Commando between 1949 and 1958. Alan was 87 years old. Our condolences to his son Paul and all Family and friends.
Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
