poem from Burma

This is among my dad's papers On offical No5 Commando notepaper Its not my dad's handwriting so who wrote it? maybe my father's officer Capt Beasley

Thats great. My image ended with the word prone.
Have i miss printed it or is part of poem missing.
what was your fathers name?
My grandfather Sgt George Jenkins fought in Burma, Albania, North Africa to name a few.
David Smiley and Julian Amery and maclean were in charge.
There is a chance that they would have met in Burma. from what i can gather it was a fairly small but successful commando force.

Im afraid thats all there was of the poem.Ive got a wad of No5 Commando notepaper and that piece was with it. My dad was Pte Robert (Bob) Donnison joined No5 from the Lincolnshire Reg October 41

Not that small - 3 Commando Brigade consisted of No1, No5, 42RM Cdo & 44RM Cdo
