During the second world war, my fathers Certificate of Service has that he spent 4 years MNBDO (HBL) 1st March 1940 until 11th March 1944. Does anyone know what this posting was?

There have been many questions and responses on MNBDO 1 and 2 in previous forum messages. If you type MNBDO into the google custom search box above you will find them all. Some good info in there. What does the record state in respect of his service after 11 March 1944 ?

He spent the rest of the time until 51 on HMS Victory, Portsmouth.
