Good afternoon,
I am looking for information about Allen Cotterhill.
I am told by family that he was a Marine Commando in the second world war.
He started in Scotland in 1942 and was discharged from the service in Sept 1946.
I am told he was a radio operator and served in Hong Kong and Kowloon.
PLYX 110720 is the number I have.

Please can you help me with advice on how to find out more about him?
Thank you
Ann

Hello Ann

If Alan is deceased then you can apply for a copy of his Service Record. What you get will be dependant on whether you are immediate next of kin or not. More can be found on Service Records here: http://www.commandoveterans.org/ServiceRecords
