Hello all, I coordinate a group of re enactors and I've been approached by a West Indian fella who's interested in joining our group.
My question is: would/could/did West Indian, Indian and Sikh members of our Armed Forces serve in Army Commandos during 1940-1945?
Any help with this would be appreciated.

The original call for volunteers for service of a hazardous nature went out to all members of the Field Army. The criteria for membership of your group is really a matter for yourselves rather than our public forum.
