It is with much sadness that we advise you of the recent death on July 14 2019 of Harry Williamson, a founder member of the Commando Veterans Association now renamed the Commando Association. Harry was also a member of the original Commando Association. Harry died at Bedale North Yorkshire after a long illness. Our condolences to his son Keith and all his Family and friends.

14489150 Cpl H Williamson No1 Commando HOC was 92 years old. He continued his service in the Territorials and Cadet Forces and attained rank of Captain in Royal Engineers retiring in 1993.

The Funeral will be held on Friday 26 July 2019 at 1430hrs at Wear Valley Crematorium Bishop Auckland. The address is Tees Walk, Coundon, Bishop Auckland DL14 8NR

God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
